Brings the kids down to the docks to meet a local OPP Police Officer andsee who can land the biggest fish. There will be lots of giveaways and prizes and the kids can enjoy a complimentary BBQ dinner in Centennial Park.
Kids (age 4-14) should bring their own fishing gear (fishing rod and water safety vest) and an adult buddy.

Get ready for National Paddling Week by exploring the Rideau Canal in the annual Silent Poker Run. Paddle in your kayak, canoe, row boat, raft or anything that floats and does not have a motor. Enjoy the splendor of the waterway while collecting poker cards and attempting to collect the best poker hand. Great prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best hands. Afterwards enjoy a complimentary BBQ dinner in the park with family and friends.

This event is a great way for the entire family to be active together - having fun while promoting a healthy lifestyle. Parents, Grandparents, Kids, even pets need regular exercise as a way to decrease stress, increase energy, improve cardiovascular function, maintain a healthy weight and improve sleep.
Participants can enter to win a complimentary pair of custom orthotics.

All are welcome to join us for the festivities at the Pavilion in Centennial Park. Bring the family and your lawn chairs to the park between 4:30 and 7pm. Catch up with old friends and to meet new community members See who won the Silent Poker Run and which kids caught the biggest fish at the Kids and Cops fishing derby while munching on a hamburger or hotdog. All proceeds from the BBQ will support SBARA's community improvement projects.
The BBQ is complimentary for kids who participated in the Kids and Cops Fishing and for participants of the Silent Poker Run. All others can purchase a meal.
Campfire and Sing-a-Long
Join us in Centennial Park 5pm to 7pm! Relax and enjoy the warmth of the campfire as the day ends. Sit on hay bales and toast marshmallows. Bring your voice and we will have fun together singing favourite songs for all ages. If you have an instrument and wish to play, we welcome you.
